Three girls, three stones, one destiny.
When Jade Opal and Amber finally turn fourteen, they are told that they must leave their homes and save a land they have never heard of. Jade is a pampered girl who gets whatever she wants, Opal is an attractive commoner who wants nothing to do with anybody, and Amber is a daydreaming peasant whose mother gets sick and dies.
They are told they are one another’s enemies. Is this true? Their success will also determine the fate of a girl named Joa. And who is this mysterious chosen one whom the girls must find?

Jade, Opal and Amber are engaged in a war for peace and must make the sacrifice of a lifetime – the fate of fairy tale lies in their hands. They find the truth of their pasts during their mad quest for peace.
But what of the future? Could they really go home to their foster parents? Will all three girls find true love? How many of them will survive?
