Children in the Primary grades have listened to the story of Tiktala, the young Inuit girl who dreams of being a soapstone carver so that she can become famous and admired and wealthy, but who, after months spent living in the body of a harp seal, discovers a new and vital artistic and spiritual purpose for her chosen art. They have created images in artPad of the creatures whose forms they would like to inhabit. Here are but a few of those images.
